Initial consultation – A quick talk about what your goals are, what you need from your business, and how we can help your website make that happen.

Price estimate – Once we’ve discussed what’s needed and you’re happy with how we fit in, we’ll be able to give you an estimate.

Decisions – We’ll produce a proposal outlining the work we’ll carry out and what we’ll actually deliver for you. Once you’ve read through this and you’re happy, we’ll take an initial payment of 50% to start work. We’ll then schedule your project based on any deadlines you’ve given us.

Your business – We’ll get to know all the important aspects of your business, asking plenty of questions. We’ll develop a list of all the things that will make your successful website tick, so we’ve got all the details we need to work from to get it just right.

Wireframing – We’ll discuss how your site will be laid out across different screen sizes (ie mobile, tablet, PC and Mac), the elements that will make up your site and where they’ll go.

Design – We’ll discuss design elements in detail, collaborating on colours, fonts, and the overall user experience.

Development – We’ll build the website according to spec, consulting with you throughout (as much, or as little as you wish), ensuring all the way through that the site is well optimised with clean code and solid design.

Training – We’ll teach you how to use the incredibly easy back-end of your site so you can edit and add to it with a minimum of fuss.

Testing and Deployment – We’ll test the site across all the major (and many of the minor) browsers across multiple platforms including mobiles, tablets, PCs and Apple products to make sure your site looks great no matter who visits.

We’re afraid there’s no real simple answer for this one, as each project is entirely different. We do think it’s important to be as open and transparent as we can be throughout however, and we know what it’s like when you’re just starting out, and cost is a larger factor than you may one day hope it to be.

Custom web designs typically range from £400 – £3,000 depending on your requirements. We want your business to feel real benefits from a HeadSmart site, and most of our custom is from word-of-mouth, so we’ll always try to keep costs down as much as we can for you.

We think of websites as far more than pretty storefronts, business tools or ways to communicate… They’re multipliers.
